Your Workout will Be Broken Down into Five Training Sections:

The Stretch and Warm Up are generally 10-15 mins and are vital because in order for the body to make physiological adaptations that it needs, we have to first PRIME THOSE ENGINES!

Still Life Fitness is all about the community. While your workout is an individual challenge, we start every workout with our signature Warm Up as a family.

The Stretch is a thoughtful flexibility and mobility drills designed to get you ready to crush your best workout yet. You will be coached through each move and the good news is, the Stretch has little variation from class to class. This will allow us to continue to master certain moves, and execute each stretch to our best ability over time.

After The Stretch we have The Warm Up, Then we will have a series of 4 exercises that will prime those engines and target muscles specifically that we will focus on during our workout. The entire class will rotate together as we work through a “Tabata style” warm up of sorts. Before we get started each exercise will be demonstrated

The Workout is generally 30-40 Mins. This is built around a combination of strength training, body sculpting training, mobility, core, and cardio. Each exercise is designed so you can focus on building your strongest self.

Each exercise for the specific class will be demonstrated. You will start at a particular exercise and rotate in numerical order of the workouts listed.

After the demo, you will complete each exercise as an AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) or EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute), depending on the day, until the final countdown.

There will be modifications for any movement if you have injuries or limitations.

The Core Attack is generally 3-5  mins. This is also vital because weak core muscles can leave you susceptible to poor posture, lower back pain and muscle injuries.

The Cool Down is actually the first step in the recovery process. The aim of this is to return muscles (that have typically been shortened during the workout) back to resting length (or longer).

Every workout should end with a cool down, something you will not find at every fitness facility.

The Cool Down is your time to relax, recover, stretch and celebrate your accomplishments. This Cool Down and stretching session with a focus on stretching the main muscles and body parts used during your workout.

We ask that you please spray off and wipe your yoga mat. Also put back weight that was used during class (if you have time).
